The Hall County Commission meeting (01/26/2012) was well attended by Lake Ranch Residents. After several presentations and much discussion, Commissioners Oliver, Powell, and Gibbs voted to deny the rezoning request. Commissioner Lutz cast the lone vote for approval. Thanks go to Commissioner Powell for taking the time to meet with us on several occasions, and for representing our best interests. Thanks go also to many Lake Ranch residents, especially Linda Brady for organizing our efforts, and Brian Daughdrill for both writing a powerful statement of opposition, and putting forth a compelling presentation at this meeting, ultimately swaying the Commission in our favor.
